MAP Accreditations are announced and Accreditation certificates awarded to successful museums at the Victorian Museum Awards each year.

At the 2010 Victorian Museum Awards, a presentation of Accreditation certificate was made to Creswick Museum.

Creswick Museum was congratulated by Jonathon Sweet, Lecturer in Museum studies, School of History Heritage and Society, at Deakin University, on meeting recognised museum standards across all areas of their operations; a great achievement for a Volunteer run museum.

Margaret Fullwood from Creswick Museum accepted the certificate and told the audience, of over 100 museum professionals and volunteers, about the organisations achievements and invited the audience to visit Creswick when next in the area.
